1. Was through being brought up in a musical family?
2. Was it through having or being forced to learn to learn a musical instrument?
3. Was it through listening to your mother and fathers records, or discussions as to who they liked?
Who was your musical idols as a child/ Teenager?
4. Was it James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Stanley Clarke
5. The Commodores, Earth, Wind and Fire, Fleetwood Mac, etc.
Or was it a Particular Sound?
6.The Sound of Philadelphia, Stax, Motown, or the Hiphop influence or certain Rock music influences?
Cassio showed an artistic flare at an early age. His confidence is intially credited to Brooker T.Tensley, his grandfather, who inspired and encouraged Cassio as a youth. In school, Cassio's imagination would frustrate his grammer school techeres who often scolded him for writing poetry in class instead of doing his assignments.
Cassio also developed an interest in music by listening to his uncle's extensive record collection which dated back to the early 1940's. Other influences touch onto the fact that his own father placed him onto the piano from the age of 5 years old that also strengthen his music know how!!!
The Cassmaster futhered his interest in music while going onto study classical piano which he kept up with for several years. Allowing him to develop a style all of his own
Cassioware states that his"Uncle James Tinsley used to pick me up from school and I got hooked on the sounds such as Rock and Roll, Alternative, Easy listening and Classical music!!"
Cassio also states that "Love of listening to the radio (Micheal Jackson and Prince for their Uniqueness was another shaping factor on his sound!!)" also had a impact on what he listened to.
However gaining experience within the world of Classical Musicas he did these were not the melodic sounds that motivated Cassio.
It was not until one morning when Bishop James Ware Cassio's father gave him the opportunity to play at a
Sunday Church Service , that Cassio true talent would be realized. He had the profound ability to play music by ear.
The combination of these artistic elements helped form Cassio's dynamic music and strong writing style.
He hs mentioned that a big influence on his sound was Micheal Jackson and Prince but he also like to a
make clear other artists such as Run DMC, Prince, Phil Collins, Teddy Pendergrass, Sting, Earth Wind and Fire, Marvin Gaye as well as Sam Cooke
where major, major inflences.
Cassio says "I love to research music and take from different generations of music such as "Bee Bop or Doo Wop"!!!
How did you get into the World of Djing?

Richmond called Ivory's and some NY, NJ local clubs.
12.What styles of musis do you prefer to play today?
13.Do you like the playing of Deep House ( Jazz fusion/style of House music, but with mellow, melodic overtones ) instrumentals
14.Or do you prefer the playing of Vocal style House cuts instead favored by New Jersey Groups such as Blaze, Smack. David Camacho, etc.....
I love Dance trax ( dubs ) , but it needs the support of the Soulful vocals
with a story about every day situations.
I also like the inclusions of other sounds such as Funk and Alternative grooves within the sphere as well
Yes this would included Hiphop as well."
15. Have you managed to travel as regards to being a DJ within the music
Can you tell us where??
Blaze, Robert Ownes, Marshall Jefferson, (the Late) Larry Levan, Timmy Regisford, Tony Humpheries (the late) Tee Schott and (the late) Lay Patterson.
Garage within the USA
is still at that underground level. Techno and Acid are still the most popualr forms of House music here!.
But there is a growing trend of interest for Garage
music;and if the Garage DJ's continue to support vocal based Garage.
We as artists can then preform to more people
breaking the music to people t o average clubber over here.
17.What are you trying to achieve within the world of music and entertainment?
Maybe you have aspirations of running your own label even............
18.Which giant within this world of House music would you like to work with ?
Masters of Work, Tony Humpheries, Blaze, Frankie Knuckles, Victor Simmonelli,MK... who?
19. Who are you favourite artists within this music
19.Who do you rate as one for the future? Who should we keep an eye on?
Alot of Underground DJs over in the states who are not in the spotlight because they don't produce!!!.
However what they are playing is as good as or even better than some if the producers!!!."
